LSI National Credentialing Register tiers

The training requirements for each tier of the LSI National Credentialing Register are set out below: 

Tier 1:
Interaction with healthcare professionals but no interaction or contact with patients or relatives other than in areas open to the general public.

Tier 2:
Interaction with healthcare professionals and with patients or relatives in areas where no invasive procedures are taking place.
(Tier 1 training must be completed, plus you will need to take one course from the Self, public & patient safety (enhanced) as below)

Tier 3:
Interaction with healthcare professionals and with patients or relatives in areas where invasive procedures are taking place.
(Tier 1 and 2 training must be completed, plus you will need to take one course from the below)

When your existing ID card expires, we will issue a new LSI National Credentialing Register powered by MIA card. If you do not meet the LSI Register standards you will be identified at tier X, which demonstrates you are working towards meeting the full requirements. You have until 30th July 2020 to meet the full tier standards.
