MIA (Medical Industry Accredited) appointment system. A credentialing and appointment system, free for NHS providers
The appointment system allows approved staﬀ to check the credentials of visiting industry staﬀ to ensure they are properly qualiﬁed to engage with healthcare professionals, and enter clinical areas within a hospital. It can also capture representative movements and activities in hospitals, and store the appointment records for future reporting.

To qualify for a photo-ID card, company representatives must meet the criteria set by the Life Science Industry in collaboration with the NHS and the Academy for Healthcare Science. The LSI National Credentialing Register is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
The service is free of charge to the NHS and private healthcare providers — all that is required is access to the internet and the ID code of the cardholder.
