The Prime Minister used his party conference to claim that 40 new hospitals will be built over the next decade, building on his election manifesto promise. 

The annual report on the state of the nation’s health and social care shows that although care received in 2019/20 was “mostly of good quality”there was “generally no improvement overall”. 

Several healthcare sites have expanded their use of MIA credentialing in the past month. Despite the November lockdown, Boris Johnson is adamant that hospitals will stay open where possible, with people being told to continue using the NHS for non-Covid healthcare.  

And, patients staying in hospitals may start to see improvements in the meals they receive, as a celebrity-backed review is published.
